: (1) A nominated director may resign from his position by giving a written notice to the Government of Nepal and an elected director to the committee. After his resignation is accepted, he will be deemed to have resigned.
(2) If the position of a nominated or elected director becomes vacant due to death, resignation or any other reason, the vacant position shall be filled by another nomination or election as the case may be, and the elected director shall remain in that position only for the remainder of his term of office.
(3) Even if there is an error in the formation of the committee or if a director's position is vacant, the committee cannot be canceled for that reason alone.
